Payment:

If you make a purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted according to the payment card industry’s security standards (PCI-DSS). The transaction data is stored as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order is completed, the transaction data is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is the result of a joint effort by companies like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

COOKIES

Here is a list of cookies we use. We’ve listed them here to give you the option to choose whether or not you wish to allow them.

  • _session_id: Unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store session-related information (referrer, landing page, etc.).
  • _shopify_visit: No data retained, persists for 30 minutes since the last visit. Used by our website’s internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits.
  • _shopify_uniq: No data retained, expires at midnight (depending on the visitor’s location) the next day. Calculates the number of visits to the store by a unique customer.
  • cart: Unique identification, persists for 2 weeks, stores information related to your shopping cart.
  • _secure_session_id: Unique session identification.
  • storefront_digest: Unique identification, indefinite if the store has a password, used to check if the current visitor has access.
